It’s So Nice To Be Back Home Where I Belong

Well hello, WordPress. Miss me?

I truly am terrible at keeping promises. I know I said I was going to try and update every day, but alas, I have grown lax. Here follows a brief summary of the last month or so:

Godspell is finally starting to be fun
Disney movies = LIFE
Dark Kingdom is WON, now I just have to decide what’s going on with the prize thing
Phoenix Wright has changed my life FOREVER
I LOVE MY LIFE–seriously, everything about it, I’m so happy right now

As one can reasonably assume, things have been going extremely well. School has been lovely, musical is finally making itself enjoyable, and drawings have been successful. On ze boy front, I’m so terribly happy right now. He is such a sweet guy, I couldn’t ask for more. Onnnn…uhh…college front. I visited Savannah! SCAD is BEAUTIFUL! And I got to see Grace, which is fantastic. It’s looking like it’s still my top choice; we’ll just have to wait and see about money.

ANYway.

OH OH. KINGDOM HEARTS THE MUSICAL. Let me count the ways (in which we’ve made leaps and bounds). Firstly, we (meaning the original group consisting of me, Kathleen, and Seth) have added on several new members to our…cult. We have been joined by Marinda, Nicole, and Whitney. And from this group, we have made the Bifteck Committeea, the codename for our seekrit project. At the moment, this group is planning the BEST THING EVER (next to the whole KH musical itself); we are going to perform the Gummi Ship scene for our Drama banquet! We have been meeting periodically to cast people and discuss matters (of life and death) on the production of the skit. We now have a full cast and we are set to discuss costumes at our next get-together. FANTASTIC, I say.

I think that’s all. I really should keep up with this. It is truly a tragedy to let it sit without updates. Life is so unnerving for a…blog…that isn’t being written…on…(my reference and my grammar died, so I’ll stop here).

School has not yet bested this site!  I can log on and, more importantly, write!

So I have been a bit lax on update lately.  Let’s see.

Last weekend was the children’s show.  It went tolerably well, and people seemed to really enjoy it (especially at Saturday’s show).  I, personally, had a really good time doing the show.  I got to hang with friends–and ze boy.  ^^;  The cast party on Saturday was AMAZING.  It was certainly the best party I’ve ever attended–there was Harry Potter scene it (it was KINDA intense, two o’ my friends in particular were REALLY NUTS ABOUT IT), Hairspray, and ze boy and some friends and I went out and played in the snow.  And saw Mrs. Clause!  It was exciting TO THA MAX.

Oh, and can I just say that there’s something about the Children’s Show?  Because last year, the day after the show, my ex asked me out.  This year, ze boy asked me out.  ♥  (It was really, really sweet!  He taped a letter to my locker telling me there was something for me on the stage, and he left a present for me in the aud.)  So that was part of yesterday’s AMAZINGNESS.  Once again, no one knows yet (well, a few people do, but they were close to the whole issue).  XD  I’m kinda overwhelmed by a sense of slightly altered deja vu.  But in a good way!

Also, I got an A in my college art class!  Which basically rocks, as well!  Yesterday was kind of awesome in general.  XD

Aaaand the Kingdom Hearts musical is coming along rather nicely.  I don’t actually think I’ve talked about this lately, but…we’re making a KH musical!  Ze boy, Kathleen, and I have all been planning it for a while.  We have set designs, plot outlines, MUSIC written, it’s truly excellent.  Anyway, we made some headway during the Children’s Show.  Officially, we have most of act 1 planned out and we know almost everything that will happen in act 2.  Yay!

Lastlylastlylastly, Dark Kingdom’s final round has started!  A while ago, actually.  I might have already mentioned it.  Anyway, I’m up against Serain.  I finally planned my comic…I felt so bad because I realized it was due the 23 and I FREAKED out because I have finals this week and I had the Children’s Show last weekend.  So I sent a note to LawrenceRoyBloodwing asking if she could push the due date back…and she did!  So I have until the 30th to draw my truly epic comic.  I hope I can make it in time!

That’s about all for now.  I shall update further when I’m not at school and/or I know when the class period ends (thank God we don’t have a final this period, haw).  XD  That’s how cool I am.  Merry Christmas, all!
