Well, this has been an eventful weekend.
Good things: Well, I got to hang with Finley for a good, long time, which was fantastic. We watched scary movies, played Bioshock, watched House, and just generally ROCKED OUT. I took a, like, 4 1/2 hour nap. Oh, and due to serious prompting from ze boys, I asked a guy to a dance (wayyyyy later in the year). AND he said yes! Ahaha, it would have been kinda crappy to list it here if not. “I asked a guy to a dance, haha, yeah! …He said no.” Anyway.
Bad things: Alright, so then I asked this guy to a dance, yes yes, right right. Then I was like, “well…he likely does not see it as a…THING, just a friendship thing”. So I freaked out a bit. Bad. Then I got a text from prom date (YEAH, prom date, it’s been a while, right?) who states he has been rethinking his idea to turn me down at the end of Senior year. OH. So as soon as I have a prospective thing going on with someone else, he happens to text. Isn’t the timing fantastic? I am almost tempted to find it more hilarious than stressful. Almost. ‘Cuz now I don’t know what to tell him. I ended up telling him I needed time to think. So to figure out what to do, I recieved counseling from Finley, and decided to go talk to new guy and be direct about how I felt. A.K.A., tell him that was a method of asking him out. So I did. He basically said that he still has feelings for another girl here at school, but he’ll let me know if anything changes (and was SO nice about it–he was all smiles and everything, and said I was awesome, which…y’know, softened the blow a bit). So that sucked. But worse, NOW I don’t know what to do about prom date. As David put it, I’m on hold. >_>
Don’t be deceived, the bad paragraph was longer, but that’s just because it was a longer story. Lots of good stuff happened, and I am rather happy that I was actually ABLE to go through with this whole shindig. And for serious, the weekend was generally good. But I felt it was necessary to document this occurance.
Anyway, yeah. So all is well right now. Hopefully something will happen with new guy…in the meantime, I don’t know what to tell prom date. But that’s okay. Classes are going fantastically, I started doing commission work (for MONEYYYYY), and Savvy and I got Organization Nu going! And it is going FANTASTICALLY, lots of really creative entries.
