School has not yet bested this site!  I can log on and, more importantly, write!

So I have been a bit lax on update lately.  Let’s see.

Last weekend was the children’s show.  It went tolerably well, and people seemed to really enjoy it (especially at Saturday’s show).  I, personally, had a really good time doing the show.  I got to hang with friends–and ze boy.  ^^;  The cast party on Saturday was AMAZING.  It was certainly the best party I’ve ever attended–there was Harry Potter scene it (it was KINDA intense, two o’ my friends in particular were REALLY NUTS ABOUT IT), Hairspray, and ze boy and some friends and I went out and played in the snow.  And saw Mrs. Clause!  It was exciting TO THA MAX.

Oh, and can I just say that there’s something about the Children’s Show?  Because last year, the day after the show, my ex asked me out.  This year, ze boy asked me out.  ♥  (It was really, really sweet!  He taped a letter to my locker telling me there was something for me on the stage, and he left a present for me in the aud.)  So that was part of yesterday’s AMAZINGNESS.  Once again, no one knows yet (well, a few people do, but they were close to the whole issue).  XD  I’m kinda overwhelmed by a sense of slightly altered deja vu.  But in a good way!

Also, I got an A in my college art class!  Which basically rocks, as well!  Yesterday was kind of awesome in general.  XD

Aaaand the Kingdom Hearts musical is coming along rather nicely.  I don’t actually think I’ve talked about this lately, but…we’re making a KH musical!  Ze boy, Kathleen, and I have all been planning it for a while.  We have set designs, plot outlines, MUSIC written, it’s truly excellent.  Anyway, we made some headway during the Children’s Show.  Officially, we have most of act 1 planned out and we know almost everything that will happen in act 2.  Yay!

Lastlylastlylastly, Dark Kingdom’s final round has started!  A while ago, actually.  I might have already mentioned it.  Anyway, I’m up against Serain.  I finally planned my comic…I felt so bad because I realized it was due the 23 and I FREAKED out because I have finals this week and I had the Children’s Show last weekend.  So I sent a note to LawrenceRoyBloodwing asking if she could push the due date back…and she did!  So I have until the 30th to draw my truly epic comic.  I hope I can make it in time!

That’s about all for now.  I shall update further when I’m not at school and/or I know when the class period ends (thank God we don’t have a final this period, haw).  XD  That’s how cool I am.  Merry Christmas, all!

Metal Gear Solid style.

Ze boy came over today! It was a romping good time. No, seriously. Romping. At some point after watching last year’s (badly dubbed) fall show on DVD/me hiding his sweatshirt several times/giving our pros and cons about all of the lamps in my house (you heard me correctly), he decided to run all over the house and try to open EVERY WINDOW. EVERY ONE. And I ran after him in an attempt to stop him (and close the windows). And at one point, while I gripped his arm in an attempt to slow him down, he dragged me across the wood floor instead (which is a good description of how well I did in trying to stop him). After that, we hung out in my living room and talked about how he was actually my cat in human form (I literally never saw them together and she reappeared–yeah, she, the cat he “secretly is” is a she, but whatever–shortly after he left). It was exciting–and I haven’t run around that much in my house…forever–so I had a lovely night.

And I’m still having one, actually. I’m talkin’ to Grace on e-mail, ze boy on Facebook, typin’ up my Dark Kingdom intermission, I’m about to crawl in bed and play Final Fantasy XII…it’s a good time. *does the Carmel Dansen dance*

Actually, this week hasn’t been too shabby. I worked on Kingdom Hearts: The Musical some more (I don’t think I’ve mentioned that particular project before). Costumes are planned, recasting is sorta done, the opening of Act 1 is planned, the finale of Act 1 is written (Gummi Ship song with eight character singing several different in-game themes), one of the first songs for Act 1 is almost completely written, and…yes. It’s crazy exciting. Sure, it’ll probably never happen, but we can dream!

Today is December 1st. It ice-rained. What a surprise, December!
